Student Festival – Tourism and Travel Management Club.

On 21 March 2021, at the Physical Education Ground of Lac Hong University, the Faculty of Business Administration - International Economics organized the “Student Festival.” On this occasion, the launching ceremony of the academic clubs of the Faculty of Business Administration - International Economics was successfully held.

In the vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere of the “Student Festival,” the opening ceremony was attended by PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration - International Economics, together with lecturers of the Faculty and students. The Faculty Youth Union Secretary – Mr Dau Van Loi – read the Decision on the establishment of the Tourism and Travel Management Club. At the event, PhD Nguyen Van Tan could not conceal his joy and excitement when the Club was officially established after a long period of planning and preparation by himself and the students. With the desire to develop the Club so that students may have a useful playground and freely demonstrate their creativity, and to promote the motto “learning in conjunction with practice” to create a solid knowledge foundation for confidently stepping into the future. Especially for the Tourism and Travel Management major, students will have opportunities to practice communication skills, behavioral skills, and enhance practical knowledge.

Bringing together diverse individuals with different personalities, generations, and interests, yet sharing a common passion for exploring and researching history and culture, students have gathered to cooperate and develop their passion. They are the outstanding members of the Tourism and Travel Management Club.

The Club members could not hide their excitement and happiness when the Club was officially launched:

In excitement, Ms Tran Ngoc Thi Na (20QD111) shared: “I feel very happy that the Club has officially been established. This will certainly be a wonderful playground for students of the Tourism and Travel Management major. Here, students will be able to express their youthfulness and enthusiasm. It is also a place where students can exchange knowledge and learn from one another.”

“I feel that the Club is a practical playground for Tourism students and also a place for students to practice and gain experience so that they will have good preparation upon graduation and participation in enterprises.” This was shared by Truong Vy, class 19QD111.

Based on the direction of PhD Nguyen Van Tan together with lecturers, members of the Tourism and Travel Management Club held a meeting and provided opinions in Room D301 – Campus 2, Lac Hong University. They shared that they must go further together in developing the playground, connecting students, and helping them grow and enhance their professional knowledge. Specifically, in April, the Tourism and Travel Management major will organize the competition “Saigon, The Historical Route,” which will be a highly useful and interesting playground. The Club members are determined to further promote and develop the Club to become increasingly strong.

It is hoped that in the future, under the direction of the Faculty leadership and MB Vu Duc Cuong – the direct advisor of the Tourism and Travel Management Club, the Club will continue to develop further, move forward together on the path ahead, effectively achieve its objectives, and realize the aspiration of the Faculty of Business Administration - International Economics to lead.
