[FAIE] ASU Master Class for Business Administration and Marketing Students: Global Mindset – A Foundation for Breakthrough Success

On the morning and afternoon of 12 December 2025, The Faculty of Administration International Economics (Lac Hong University) successfully organized the ASU Master Class with the theme “Global Trade in the Modern World.” The first two sessions, designed for students of the Business Administration and Marketing programs, were conducted in a dynamic atmosphere, delivering substantial practical value and opening up fresh perspectives on the global economy.

Understanding the Economic Landscape to Proactively Seize Opportunities

The greatest value students gained from the session was the ability to clearly understand the context and trends of modern global trade. Rather than approaching knowledge in a fragmented manner, students were guided to see the overall picture, including both potential opportunities and emerging challenges. Mastering this context enables Business Administration and Marketing students to build a solid knowledge foundation, thereby becoming more confident in making future business judgments and decisions.

Developing Macro-Level Thinking on the Regulatory Role of Government in an Open Economy

Delving into the core content, the class equipped students with essential knowledge about the role of government in an open economy, particularly in international trade. Students analyzed how macroeconomic policies affect business operations. This is a crucial component that helps them shift from micro-level to macro-level thinking, understand the general rules of the international market, and make appropriate career decisions in the future.

Building Integration Capacity and Strategic Thinking for Enterprises

The overarching objective of the session was to help students develop an integration mindset and thoroughly understand the impact of international trade on both nations and enterprises. Through the class, students recognized that business success or failure depends not only on internal capabilities but also on global trade flows. This perspective positions students as high-quality human resources, ready to adapt and contribute to enterprise development in a highly competitive environment.

Interactive Learning Methods and Practical Skill Development

A highlight of the class was its modern workshop format lasting three hours. The lecturer did not deliver one-way instruction but combined in-depth video lectures with periodic pauses every 15 minutes for summaries and direct interaction, ensuring that students grasped the content during class. Through group discussions and the requirement to present knowledge in the form of mind maps, students had the opportunity to develop skills in information synthesis, logical thinking, and public presentation.

    Dedicated and Experienced Faculty Team

The success of the session was made possible by the dedicated guidance of highly qualified lecturers. The program was honored to have the participation of MB Ta Thi Thanh Huong, MB Truong Le Hoang, MB Luu Ngoc Liem, MB Tran Thi Kim Chi, and PhD Duong Thi Phuong Hanh. Their close support throughout the discussion sessions helped students address many questions and inspired a strong interest in international knowledge.

Upcoming Opportunity for Students of Law, International Business, and Tourism Programs

Following the enthusiasm of the first sessions, The Faculty of Administration International Economics is pleased to announce that the next session will be held on the afternoon of 17 December 2025. This session is specifically designed for students of the International Business, Law, Economic Law, and Tourism and Travel Management programs. The class will take place from 13:00 to 16:00 at Room A301 – Campus 01. Students of the above programs are encouraged to prepare to participate in this engaging academic journey.
